Goblin Market is an earthy fig gourmand perfume blending green fig leaf, golden honeycomb, brandied fig flesh, smoked vanilla, amber and velvet woods. It opens surprisingly green and earthy before gradually softening into a warm honeyed sweetness. Inspired by Christina Rossetti’s Goblin Market, it’s a strange and enchanting autumn fragrance where luscious fruit meets the forest floor.

GOBLIN LORE

There is something wonderfully strange about a fig: its flowers bloom on the inside. What we think of as the fruit actually holds a hidden garden of tiny flowers within it—secret blossoms tucked away where no one can see them.

That bit of botanical magic felt perfectly at home in the world of Goblin Market.

Rossetti’s poem overflows with fantastical fruits and strange little goblins, including the deliciously simple promise of:

“Figs to fill your mouth”

I imagined those figs surrounded by green leaves and dark earth, then split open to reveal their rich centers—drenched in honey, warmed with brandy and surrounded by smoke, amber and woods.

The fragrance begins green and surprisingly earthy. As it develops, that earthiness softens and golden honeycomb brings a warm sweetness to the fig, smoked vanilla, amber and velvet woods. It moves from green and earthy to warm and honey-sweet, with a strange woodland quality lingering underneath.

But beneath all the goblin mischief and luscious fruit is the part of Rossetti’s story I love most: the bond between Laura and Lizzie.

I don’t have a sister by birth, but I’ve been incredibly lucky to have friendships that feel like sisterhood—the kind of friends who become family. Those bonds are something I cherish deeply, and I love that beneath all the strangeness and goblin lore, Goblin Market gives us this beautiful story of women caring for, protecting, and showing up for one another.

Goblin Market brings all of those pieces together: hidden flowers, ripe fruit, peculiar goblins, dark woods, and a little bit of sisterly magic.
