The name 5 Petals of Venus refers to the eight-year Venus Cycle in which, from a geocentric perspective, Venus’ motion around the Sun and Earth traces the most beautiful pattern of a 5 petaled rose in the sky. It seems no coincidence that the planet associated with beauty since before telescopes even existed draws a rose as she dances in orbit around the Sun.

Venus’ cycle around the Sun in relation to the Earth was also the basis of Galileo’s argument (based on Copernicus’ preexisting theory) that Earth, and other planets are orbiting the Sun and not the other way around. For a deeper understanding of the Phases of Venus, here are two helpful videos:

So Good!

It really does smell like the bottom of a Halloween trick or treat bucket. I didn’t think I would like the fruitiness but it really grew on me! I only wish that the scent was a little stronger and lasted longer, but maybe that’s just because I got the oil roller and not the atomizer. Great scent!

Delicious scents and understanding owner

I initially received a set of leaky atomizers, with several half empty upon arrival and the rest coated in perfume. Tara was incredibly kind in offering me a replacement set and it arrived very quickly and in perfect condition.
The scents are absolutely delicious. London fog is everything I hoped it would be and I’m constantly sniffing my wrists trying to get more of it lol. I’m also fond of fairy frosting—I was worried about the bubblegum note but I’ve found it isn’t too strong or offensive at all :)

I have been looking for the perfect warm and enticing spice-smell for the longest time and this perfume is it! To me it smells like honey, cinnamon, vanilla, but others might get different notes depending on how your body chemistry works with it. The packaging was adorable. I will definitely be trying other scents as well!
